Until recently, I have rarely used my LinkedIn account. However, I decided to delve more into this Web 2.0 networking tool. I was searching for previous work collegues, friends, and family when I thought, “I wonder if the presidential candidates have a profile?”

What do you know! I searched for all three profiles and up popped John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. So, I went ahead and added them to my network.

Upon doing so I saw who in my network was in each candidate’s network. Interesting. Perhaps LinkedIn is a way to get a sneak peak as to the party affiliation of your co-workers, friends, and family! I won’t share mine, however. I joined all three.
